The Famcore Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization that operates service projects across multiple states. Founded in 2017 by volunteers with service experience, we focus on supporting local volunteers with their efforts to provide for their communities.

In 2015, a group of New Orleans natives saw an opportunity to help those in need by delivering free holiday meals to low-income families in their community. This project, Hams For Fams, continues to feed thousands of people in New Orleans annually. Inspired by their success, the Famcore Foundation was created to extend their impact to new places and offer support to those with similar passions. We believe in local service and building community. That’s why we focus on keeping projects locally operated.

The Famcore Foundation provides 501c3 status to new projects, allowing them to immediately benefit from their status as an official non-profit. This opens the door to grant funding, discounts, and benefits to donors through tax-reductions. We also provide administrative assistance through financial management, logistic and administrative capabilities, and years of expertise. Funds to operate projects are raised locally and distributed locally. Together, we help organizers plan, build, and sustain successful service projects that benefit those in need.
