Open Positions

Director of Recruitment

    • The Recruitment Director is the head of the Recruitment Committee and is in charge of finding and recruiting all drive coordinators and Famcore members. They will also conduct interviews, work with partners in recruitment efforts, and assist in gaining volunteers.

    • Lead Recruitment Committee and all of its responsibilities

    • Build relationships that encourage recruitment (meeting with local organizations, our local members, etc.)

    • Design interview questions and process for potential drive coordinators and Famcore members

    • Conduct interviews for potential candidates across all drives

    • Determine best choices for drive coordinators alongside Project Advisors

    • Provide the Program Management Director with recruitment progress updates and profiles on the new drive coordinators

    • Onboard new internal hires or help transfer new drive coordinators to their respective Project Advisor

    • Maintain list of organizations, schools, and websites that are good sources of recruitment or volunteers and investigate to add to the list

    • Plan community events alongside Event Planner to boost Famcore awareness

    • Create marketing materials with the Marketing Manager to attract volunteers to drives

Event Manager

    • The Event Manger will look for opportunities to conduct fundraising and community events. This includes handling the associated logistics, financials, and marketing.

    • Research and discover opportunities for fundraising or community events

    • Research trends in community with event potential

    • Plan logistics and budgets for events

    • Work with community partners to improve operations or attract more patrons

    • Market and advertise the events to community

    • Operate the fundraising or community events, or delegate the operation if needed

Project Advisor

    • A Project Advisor is a support role to the Program Director. They will focus on one drive or region and train, oversee, assist, and review the drive coordinators of that drive or region.

    • The purpose of the role is not to run an individual drive but rather provide specialized assistance to drive coordinators.

    • Assist Recruitment with interviewing and choosing drive coordinator candidates

    • Train new drive coordinators using standard training processes and materials

    • Relay any updates or information from Famcore to drive coordinators

    • Develop and enforce a standard drive timeline

    • Assist drive coordinators with setting and following goals

    • Ensure training lessons, guidelines, and best operating practices are being followed

    • Provide oversight and assistance to drive coordinators throughout the duration of the drive season, including in areas such as operations, logistics, partnerships, advertising, and more

    • Perform end-of-drive feedback sessions and exit interviews

Accountant

    • The Accountant serves as support to the Finance Director in monitoring the foundation’s finances. They will also handle tax filings, financial reports, invoicing, and reimbursements.

    • Monitor cash inflow and outflow across the foundation and its drives

    • Produce financial reports for the foundation and its drives

    • File accurate tax forms for the foundation

    • Assist drives in their tax problems and filings

    • Pay invoices and archive receipts

    • Handle any reimbursements to drives

Marketing Manager

    • The Marketing Manager will lead all marketing and advertising campaigns and activities for Famcore and its drives. They will also maintain all websites, social media accounts, newsletters, and branding.

    • Create marketing material to be used by the foundation and its drives

    • Design and upkeep websites for the foundation and its drives and optimize their search relevancy

    • Ensure functionality of websites at all time, including functional donation buttons, updated goals, accurate dates and information, and drive pictures

    • Manage social media accounts to provide updates and drive engagement

    • Design and distribute newsletters for various groups including volunteers, donors, and families

    • Assist the Fundraising Committee with any marketing needs for their fundraising campaigns and activities

    • Assist Project Advisors and drive coordinators with advertising their drives in their local areas to donors, volunteers, and families when needed

    • Maintain the branding and online presence of the foundation and its drives
